    Clean water is essential, but maintaining microbial safety in small water tanks, humidifiers, pet fountains, and water purifiers remains a challenge. Chemical treatments leave residues, and mercury lamps are bulky, fragile, and hazardous. UVC LED technology offers a compact, chemical‑free, and highly effective alternative.

     

    At Qingdao LYD Electronics Co., Ltd., we manufacture two series of UVC LED modules specifically designed for static water disinfection in tanks up to 10 liters: the L804 and L801 series. Both operate at the germicidal wavelength of 260‑280 nm, delivering 99.9% sterilization of bacteria and viruses, including E. coli, as verified by our in‑house microbiology laboratory.

     


    Key Engineering Advantages

    - IP68 Waterproof Construction – Fully submersible modules suitable for continuous operation in humid environments such as humidifiers, pet water dispensers, and water purifier reservoirs.

    - Compact Footprint – L804 measures only 24×24×24 mm, ideal for space‑constrained product designs. L801 (36.5×36.5×25 mm) offers higher radiant power for larger systems.

    - Low Voltage & Low Power – Both series run on DC12V or DC24V, with L804 consuming ≤0.5W and L801 ≤1.5W. This allows battery‑powered or USB‑connected applications.

    - Long Service Life – Rated for 10,000+ hours, significantly reducing maintenance and replacement costs compared to mercury lamps.

    - Customizable Options – Wavelength (260‑285 nm), terminal type, wire length, and even UVC+UVA or UVC+blue LED combinations are available for OEM projects.
